National Park Week Starts April 19

The National Park Service will kick off National Park Week on April 19 and will be offering free entrance across 430 national parks. This gives RVers the perfect opportunity to explore the country’s public lands for FREE.

The celebration starts on April 19th and goes through April 27th. So if you’ve been waiting to visit one of these national treasures, now is the time. It’s also the perfect time to try out some of Adventure Genie’s new features. Use your “natural language” to ask your Personal Genie to plan a trip for you to the closest National Park and include stops along the way to your favorite “_____________” fill in the blank.

It’s as easy as that and your Personal Genie provides the answer you requested.

From here you can tweak the trip to perfection!

This years National Park Week will include events such as National Junior Ranger Day, Earth Day observances, and commemorations of historic milestones.

We encourage you to explore sites such as Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, and Mammoth Cave. Or how about Blue Ridge Parkway, Glacier Bay, and Cape Lookout. Honestly, we don’t think you can go wrong with any of our national parks. By the way, what’s your favorite national park? Leave us and other fellow adventurers your recommendations below.

The National Park Service is also encouraging travelers to explore other national landmarks. These include places like Carnegie Hall, Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, the Statue of Liberty, or The Alamo.

You can find out more about National Park week at NPS.gov or the NPS app. These resources can help you choose a location that fits your travel style.
